Refund Policy
Reservations cancelled more than 72 hours prior to an event will be subject to a full refund of the fees paid. Cancellations made less than 72 hours but more than 24 hours prior to the event will receive credit for attendance at a future SMPS/LA program. No-shows and cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the event will not be refunded.
No cash or check payments will be issued if the refund is for a ticket purchased by a credit card. If you purchased an event ticket with cash or check at the event or mailed it to us, you will be issued a check. Please allow 1-2 billing cycles for the refund credit to appear on your credit card statement.

Security Policy
SMPS/LA takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.
When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number and/or contact information), that information is encrypted and is protected with High-grade AES 256 bit encryption software from Starfield Technologies. While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, when you are just 'surfing'. While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information.
