Marketing Magic: Making the Most of your Marketing Tools in Lean Times

Date: Wednesday, February 18

A dramatic downturn in the economy has us all frightened, and fear naturally causes the wallet to clamp shut. Rather than focusing on the casualties of the economy, discover how you can take charge of your career and your firm's future! Attend this seminar to learn some tricks of the trade so you can bedazzle your boss with your newly acquired marketing "magic."

To help navigate these uncharted waters, a captivating panel of industry experts, each with a proven track record of marketing success, will converge to share the latest trends and business solutions, many of which did not exist a few years ago. Our experts in technology, public relations, and marketing/business development will weigh in on the new, yet cost conscious, tools that can help your firm stand out from the crowd in this highly competitive and challenging economic environment. Among the topics that will be examined are:

  • Re-thinking internal structure with a focus on agility;
  • Shifting market share... where it makes sense;
  • Forging new types of alliances;
  • Employing blogging, social networking and viral marketing to your advantage;
  • Organic versus paid endeavors in marketing; and
  • Maximizing public relations potential.

This will be an interactive session with ample time for questions and answers for the audience. We encourage you to come prepared for an open discussion about the specific challenges you are facing inside your own workplace and explore solutions with our seasoned panelists and the audience at large. You may also submit your primary topic of interest/concern in advance to our Director of Education, Madeline Field by emailing education@smps-la.org

Get ready and join us for this enchanting examination of the technologies, strategies and solutions that will help you work magic to effectively market and develop new business in these lean times.
