Meet the Press: Your Gateway to Industry Media Professionals
Date: Wednesday, September 17
Are you interested in launching a strong media relations campaign for your firm? Maximize your firm's public relations efforts with SMPS/LA's "Meeting the Press: Gateway to Industry Media Professionals," a program in which a distinguished panel of A/E/C industry editors will share their insight and perspective on future trends in publishing and best practices for improving your firm's success in getting ink.
"Meet the Press" will give you the opportunity to mingle with media representatives and develop a greater understanding of the specific challenges and opportunities that they foresee in the Los Angeles region. You'll also learn how to leverage your firm's public relations efforts to meet their needs, as well as how to build effective relationships with media professionals. The panel format will address topics such as:
- Media trends
- Common tactics for winning media relations campaigns
- Successful practices for pitching stories and topics
- Means of working collaboratively and effectively with the media
- Modes for maximizing exposure of your firm's expertise
We encourage your participation and invite you to submit additional topics for the panel discussion! You may do so by contacting Luis Dominguez directly at info@smps-la.org. We look forward to seeing you!
