Outlook on Transportation: Climb Aboard the Mass Transit Movement

Date: Saturday, March 1-Sunday, March 16

Join our panel of transportation development leaders as they share what transportation projects are already underway or being planned, and the challenges related to upcoming capital improvement projects. With representatives from Los Angeles and Anaheim, attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of our regional needs and potential A/E/C prospects. Topics to be covered in this discussion include:

  • Status of Phase 1 of the Exposition Light Rail Line; challenges overcome; and what's planned for Phase 2.
  • The 30/10 Initiative, which will allow Metro to build 12 key mass transit projects in 10 years, rather than 30.
  • Status of Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC) and the future of transportation for Anaheim.
  • Upcoming contract opportunities within the High Speed Rail Authority.
