Marketing & Proposal Specialist

As a member of the PMCM Division marketing team, the Marketing & Proposal Specialist works closely with the regional Marketing Manager and other team members to support the marketing efforts and business development activities for the Western Region (primarily California and Arizona).

Position requirements include, but are not limited to:

*   Works with business development and operations staff to develop and execute marketing campaigns and lead generation strategies
*   Conducts market research, competitive analyses, etc. to identify potential opportunities and screen leads
*   Creates, edits and produces marketing collateral, advertising, promotional materials and presentations
*   Identifies PR opportunities, prepares press releases and coordinates press interviews with regional management and technical staff
*   Coordinates proposal kick-off meetings and schedules
*   Attends client pre-proposal and debrief meetings
*   Assists with writing and editing proposal sections
*   Develops proposal layouts, assembling and delivering final documents
*   Prepares materials for proposal interviews
*   Coordinates and attends tradeshows, conferences and other events
*   Prepares and distributes qualification packages
*   Keeps all project-related information and resumes up to date
*   Tracks marketing campaigns and updates the CRM with information on leads and opportunities

REQUIREMENTS

Position requirements include, but are not limited to:

*   At least 2 years of experience in a marketing or proposal-creation position
*   Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
*   Excellent organizational and time-management skills
*   Strong computer skills, including Word, PowerPoint, Photoshop and InDesign (Microsoft CRM experience is a plus)
*   Strong customer service skills and willingness to assist others
*   Strong problem-solving abilities
*   Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
*   Ability to multi-task and stay ahead of deadlines
*   Ability to work effectively alone and as part of a team
*   Understanding of marketing terms and principles (e.g. market research, competitive analysis, target audience, call to action, etc.)
*   Understanding of the sales process (e.g. prospecting, nurturing leads, developing opportunities, closing sales, etc.)
*   Understanding of the RFP and proposal-development processes
*   A/E/C industry experience is a plus
*   Minimum years of experience:  2+ years of related professional experience
*   Education required:  Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
*   This position does require travel, travel amount is negligible
*   A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position
*   This position does not manage others
